Peppermint mocha, milk tea and gelato
My morning habits are coming back as school will start tomorrow - for me. Unlike most college students whose semester resumed last Monday, classes resume tomorrow and we're not resuming a semester. It's a whole new trimester in my school, it's gonna be like the first day of college all over again. It has become a habit of mine to ride with my dad going to Taft. He drops me off outside his office and from there I commute. Both of us love coffee especially in the morning; every time I ride with him, we pass by Starbucks and we grab ourselves our favorite drinks (venti, no whip, add jelly coffee jelly for him and venti, non-fat, no whip, peppermint mocha for me) and unlike the last time, this drink was perfect. I took a sip from my drink and "Aah, yeah, this is my drink alright ;)"After my dad dropped me off somewhere near his office, I rode an FX going to school. I was disappointed at how it looked, it looks worse compared to the last time we were in school which was around second week of December. What happened to our school? Serenitea, the name was catchy and I missed drinking milk tea so I went in and gave it a try.

Large Chocolate Milk tea P105 |
My drink cost me P105 and I found it quite over priced comparing it to the milk tea I usually bought in school which only cost P60 for the same drink and size. Although it was quite pricy for a milk tea, they offered options that my P60 milk tea did not, they asked me what I want instead of the usual tapioca pearls (though those were not available; thus, the presentation of the option) nonetheless, my P60 milk tea was served with either tapioca pearls of nothing. I didn't like Serenitea's other options in place of the tapioca pearls so I had my milk tea as is. I was busy staring at the menu when the cashier asked me "sweetness level ma'am?", I was taken aback. What, there's a sweetness level? WOW, I can have it as bitter as I want, what is awesome! So I took my time examining their options for the sweetness level and for a change, I opted for 75%. I waited for a couple of minutes for my 75% sweet large chocolate milk tea and when it was served, I was surprised with the packaging, it was cute! For some reason, I was excited to take a sip of my Serenitea! I punched the straw, excited to drink and I took my first sip. It wasn't as great as my P60 milk tea - it lacked chocolate and it was still too sweet for my taste though I love how I could taste the tea.
So I walked around the mall with my milk tea in hand. When I was almost done with my drink, my stomach signaled me - oh no. I went to my favorite restroom which was located somewhere inside the department store. Only a few people knew about that place and there was tissue there. I took my time releasing the unwanted stress in my stomach. The moment I stepped out of the cubicle, the janitor gave me this smile saying "ALAM NA!" Oh well, I don't care, everyone does that, right? Hahahaha
After my restroom adventure, I went around the mall again looking for a place where I can sit down and use the mall's free wifi. I love malls with free wifi. So I went in and out different coffee shops looking for a seat but there was none then I came across this stall in the middle of the mall - Arts Cream Gallery, it's a typical gelato store but this is what makes them unique:

Mint gelato P60 |
It wasn't the most ideal place for me to stay in because of their lack of sockets but it was fine, I managed to stay there and wait for my friend. I'm not a huge fan of gelato but this one was okay. Not all stores that sell gelato separate mint from peppermint - you might think there's no difference but there is. Mint is a whole lot different from peppermint. What the difference is? That should be a different post. I wan't able to finish my small gelato which was also quite expensive, btw. It's fine even if I saw it melting right before my eyes, at least I had a place to sit and enjoy the gigantic umbrellas and air fresheners.
You have discussed an interesting topic that everybody should know. Very well explained with examples. I have found a similar website Pure Gelato Scoop Cake visit the site to know more about pure gelato.
