Coffee and make up

I love my Mocha. I don't drink plain coffee but I love drinks with coffee in it. So far, my favorite mocha is the one of Starbucks' because my taste buds don't find anything weird when I take a sip - unless the barista got my drink wrong.

Last week, I went to Serendra to meet up with Guia for a free make up workshop that I happened to stumble upon on Boy Kuripot's blog ( I love how he posts contests and workshops! ). While waiting for Guia and for the time, I went around Serendra looking for a coffee shop that I know not of - I didn't want to go to Starbucks, Seattle's Best or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf since I always go to these places. Then, I came across Echo Cafe:

Mocha P85
The place was cute, they had a small cafe inside a small shop. I sat down in the middle of organic products and it felt quite peaceful since it was a small place, there wasn't much noise. I ordered myself a cup of their mocha and when it arrived, I thought that it was cute, with the artsy fartsy presentation of their drink. I took my first sip and.. boy was I disappointed. I thought that there was a thin layer or foam so that the barista would be able to doodle on it but NO. My cup of mocha was composed of almost 1/2 foam and the other half mocha - this made it difficult for me to drink my mocha. I was not happy at all with my mocha but it was alright, at least I had the chance to chill in a quite place.

After I finished my drink, I went to meet Guia for our free workshop.

The workshop ran for an hour and Reiva Cruz - a make up artist from NY, was amazing! I love the way she gave the workshop because she was just really chill. I should really invest more on make up and practice on my face. Hahaha

When you're happy and you know it, someone takes it away.

Dearest darlingest Guia, this photo is for you:

THE balcony
I love that balcony, it brings back a lot of memories, stories and the feeling of the wind raping you, I love it. In Quezon City, there is no wind at all to rape you. There may be a few breezes that pass by but they don't pull your skirt or dress up like the one in the balcony. Ahehehe, I love windy days, rainy days and sunny days as long as I'm in the right place ;)

I love you baby girl, all the time :*
